If you are Android owner,you now can download PostFinance for free from Google Play. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.3.0 has been released on 2014-04-28. When it works the app is great I can do most of my banking comfortably and quickly just using my phone However the app has often stopped working for long periods in the past Particularly when there is a new major release of Android It s happened to me twice already that I couldn t use the app for 1 2 weeks after switching to Android 9 and Android 10 The second time was particularly painful because I couldn t use my credit card online for 2 weeks             Dimitar Asenov

Edit 2019 09 17 It s been almost a month since the official Android 10 release that made the app unusable The fix was released just now I m giving it 4 stars again because in a working state I like the app But please You promote a banking app that provides features like 2 step verification for e banking login credit card payment verification and more Features that are vital to the userbase And then the app breaks on startup for almost a month This was preventable with the available Beta program for Android Also there was no notification in the e banking or on the website nothing that I could find                 Patrick Steiner

3DS fingerprint authentication works once in 10 tries I get the notification in the top bar but nothing happens after I click it Doesn t matter if the app is running or not Makes paying for things online or logging in to efinance on a computer very frustrating         Philippe Gerber

Completely incompetent bank Android 10 Beta was available for months users reported that the app doesn t work and PostFinance did absolutely nothing to fix their app Now Android 10 has officially been released for more than a week and there is still no fix They don t even have a rough estimate when they will have one ready I m closing down my account and moving it to BCV this is just unacceptable from a bank     Edgar Boda-Majer

Update2 Managed to talk to technical support Got a confirmation that there are known compatibility issues with Android 10 which is officialy released They are working on this problem no timeline was given for a solution No idea about the issues of all other users here that did not update to Android 10 yet You should call the technical support line since it seems communication on the play store is also not a strong point here Update1 This is becoming hilarious Postfinance is pushing authorization of online credit card payments towards using the mobile app for the 3d secure authentication HOWEVER the app DOES NOT WORK AT ALL It just crashes when opening And now 3D Secure authorization by password is not possible anymore and the app is not an option since it s not working at all for the last two months Direction is good execution is less then poor lately and communciation also Outdated from better times The app works fine and is getting better     Cristian Burtan Fleischer

the yellow card reader is a nightmare for logging in when I was using easier and more secure ways to log into banking apps for years in other countries now it says I can FINALLY use fingerprint or face id but I don t have the option to do that on my phone and there s no update available here how do I get access to this             Emilie Smolders

Incompatible with Android 10 on Pixel 2 App worked fine until I got the official Android 10 system update and since then the app no longer starts It crashes immediately Reinstalling Android 9 on my phone fixed the issue This cost me 2 hours had to change my evening plans     Andy Staudacher

There s a bug which occurs after logging in which proves to be annoying when you re doing something else on your phone The bug is that the app opens itself when the session timed out and it can be really annoying when you re watching videos If this bug gets fixed it s worth the 5 stars             Felix Tea
