When this works it is really good despite lack of free view channels but they can t help that but when it goes wrong it s quite horrific usually not the apps fault something account wise gets screwed up During these horrific moments the tech support email team is absolutely fantastic and can usually sort it out within a day the help desk number however are usually mistaken with their advice or their solution             Matthew Marshall

Is it just me the app works better the new Samsung Galaxy S9 10 better than better than hour wowway phone I m just finished my variety package so I I decided to go too EE an order BT TV when I pictures BT TV staff said the app words without the YouView box bad my Android phone says something different you need a YouView box to connect to the which is the ment man lying two men I m satisfied customer service I ll get this app no starts but I very unsatisfied customer service     Kyle Gatillo

Having to download because I cant find mytv on the set top box to watch recordings Tried logging in to find that you get locked out if enter the wrong password 3 times Personally I find everything Bt over complicated and totally unnecessary and this is another of those scenarios         Steve Dee

Updated Every time I tried to log in it said You ve entered your password incorrectly three or more times you ve been locked out of your account for 15 minutes Please try again then GJ107 after posting a negative review on here after a year of unsuccessful attempts one guy managed to find the problem right away and fix it within 24hrs Best to keep trying eventually someone will hopefully get it fixed             Charles Brennan

Not supported on sony xperia or via Amazon Fire stick Update After the review have been contacted by BT saying both devices are supported Then told its my package although have been previously told I should be able to watch all but freeview Apparently my package limits me to amc and catchup They are currently not working but BT are working on the issue further update app is now working fine Issues not with app but confusion over information and order details             Mary Donaghey

Great app as part of package Had this app for just under a week and it worls great Works onn my android tablet Android Phone Fire tv stick and even my windows pc Although the pc version is not as intuitive as the other versions It was great to get it oncluded in my package and even better to get it even before my full BT contract started I can only think of one improvement and that would be to onclude spme of the other free to air channels but i guess thats down to licencing                 John Elvidge

This app keeps telling me it is not recognising me when I attempt to log in It has barred me for 15 minutes then still locked me out when I retried I changed my password and it was verified but it still wasnt recognised I have uninstalled and installed the app again to no avail     Val

Literally can t figure this out I have the app and am trying to watch my recordings and have tried live tv too and i keep getting a message saying that i can watch on my tv box at home but there is no option to play them on my phone         tracy robinson

Upgrading to a BT TV u0026 downloading the app it wouldn t recognise my login details In desperation I change my password but still wouldn t recognise it Then I found I couldn t send or receive emails Got someone in to fix that although his occupation he could not work out why the app would not recognise my login ID and suggested I phoned BT This I did and was told the app would not work with my package and would have to buy more add ons I didn t want Anything to get more money NO THANKS     Stan Brown

the app it s self is actually built well and good to use But it keeps asking me to log in and doesn t recognise me locks me out and doesn t let me back in really anoying so use the you view app not built as good but least it works that s all that matters connects quick and has it all on their     Toby Gough

Just doesn t work can t watch TV on the app it keeps telling me to tune my box to the channel I want to watch If I was at home to do that I wouldn t need the app The developers say the problem doesn t exist which is even more annoying Edit I have spoken to the developers 2 of them so it s not correct BT saying I haven t I have now discovered that unless you pay for premium channels the app only let s you watch BT Sport and AMC Complete waste of time for anyone not paying for premium channels can t even watch free to air channels on the app In response to the BT Developer I can t use the app to set recordings on box as your rubbish box doesn t even record I just expect you to admit that there is no point having the app if you are on the basic TV package In reply to the developer I thought it was an app that would enable me to watch TV on my mobile as I am a BT customer that is what I need Your app does not enable me to do that even though you claimed it does that s why I left a negative review     Steve Balfour-Ackroyd

In what circumstances might you really need a virtual remote When the physical one is broken But when you first try to pair this app with a YouView box guess what it asks you to do Press OK on your remote There is no documented way to indicate OK on the box itself The app might work but I guess I ll never know     Chris Fryer

This is just classic BT all over USELESS got a message on my BT box that there is a new BT TV app extra so gave it a try I got the confirmation email I now have 4 available device slots BUT when I tried to stream to a big TV it says you can t do this on Apple TV Chromecast etc etc all the things it said it would stream to Just typical Honestly the only time the box goes on is to watch Champions League for everything else I turn to Sky I so want it to work BT but for a company your size YOU SUCK UPDATE Just logged on to the BT chat said it would take less than 12 minutes after 20 minutes it said 7 and a half minutes and stayed there for over 12 WHY OH WHY can t they even get the little things right Had already clicked on the more information page on the confirmation email which led me to you guessed it NOWHERE This is all typical stuff sadly How the mighty have fallen             James Segrove

Rubbish application Doesn t work on Android box Doesn t work on my Samsung TV while giving me message that I need to upgrade my package doesn t work on my tablet I have paired the bt box with the tablet and yet again I can t watch my recordings paid channels or live tv with a message that I can watch them on my bt box What s the point of the app then Only 2 devices allowed but you need to wait 30 days to be able to ad another one another joke from BT To be little bit positive works on my phone but I can t share the screen to my tv therefore please rework you app or just delete it from the market     Bojan Jajchevski

The app on my phone works as expected however I am having problems casting to Chromecast After a while it comes up with a CM007 error which is not listed on the website This stops the playing of the channel and will immediately show up again when selecting a different channel I can cast fine from other apps including bt sport so I m not sure what the issue could be             Matt Smith
