If you are Android owner,you now can download MSN Weather - Forecast & Maps for free from Google Play. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. Recent convert from Windows Phone was excited to download the app However I must say the Android version falls short of the Windows Phone 10 version One example is the Android version does not have daily and monthly average temperatures helpful when planning a trip Hopefully Microsoft will fix that in a future release One thing the Android version is better is the ability to rearrange the tiles of your favorite locations             Frank Rehanek

Widget constantly fails and have to re add to get it working again Widget should automatically load default location set in app instead of requiring a location be set seems like part of the problem Never an issue on pc or windows phone Otherwise I really like the app but about to switch cause it s getting old dealing with it     A F

App keeps coming up with just a blank screen Uninstalling reinstalling does not help Have to cycle through ask the settings then it starts working Other than that it s the best weather app out there Sad they don t fix this issue as others talk about it too         Orion Spade

Buggy and unstable Now crashes upon every launch Also it doesn t properly sync my favorite locations with the desktop version Worse I try to add more cities it says it s added them but they don t show up at all repeatedly And while a day might show a 90 chance of rain sometimes no precipitation will show in the hourly breakdown         Andrew G

I m trying to make a Microsoft ecosystem on my android and I REALLY want to like this app However it s really only useful for showing the short range forecast Much browsing on the app and it crashes and is buggy literally every single time I have not had a fluid experience yet Sadly I just use the widget I ll probably have to go to another weather app if Microsoft doesn t make this a viable always working app             Kevin Davis

used to love this app and used it often however in the last few days has stopped working consistantly on both my LG phone and my wife has same issue on ger Samsung app tries to start and immediatly closes disappointing Some days it has worked just fine other days it just wont start Can t recommend using an app that just wont run consistantly I would expect much better of microsoft     Jeffrey Dykeman

I enjoyed this app on my Win10 Phone but after moving to Android the widgets here don t work The widget prompts me to select a location from an empty list when I add the widget to my home screen The core app requested and received location permission the widget does not seem to use this pemission to auto select a location and the search from the widget yields no locations so the widget fails to initialize fully and closes when you hit the back button hoping to find more options useless         Daniel Isfeld

It used to be a decent app The past few days it doesn t work though Crashes on start I uninstalled it Reinstalled could days later and it works sometimes When I check weather in NYC it crashes when checking out other cities it works Weird behavior but a deal breaker because I live in NYC     Radek S

I already have my location configured in the app settings however the widget does not pick it up moreover in the widget location search even if I type the location no suggestion comes up and the search button does not get enabled I have chosen I will manually configure my location and still issue is not resolved Seems a major bug and therefore not being able to use the widget     Chow Rajaa

It is not reliable Some mornings it opens right up but recently I cannot get my morning weather reports from it It s too bad because it use to be my favorite app for weather reports         Merry Impey

This was my favourite weather app until I couldn t add it s widgets anymore When trying to add a widget the only option I get is to search for a location can t even just choose an already favourited location but no search results come up when trying to add a widget so you just can t Sort it out MSN At least just let us choose an already favourited location for the widget instead of having to search as the search function in the app works and we can add locations to favourites that way             Andrew Cook

App Closes on Open This started on 7 29 19 The W10 store app on my desktop is fine Maybe two months ago the app began showing a Merge Discard choice when opening the app for logged in account which may be related to the app now not working I am using thw MS Launcher Please fix MS     Spac3 Forc3

UPDATE Still not working Tried to reinstall stable for a while now it has the same issue crashes on open Win10 app on pc has never shown this problem I shut down the LG installed Weather apps and services thinking interference but no luck     Jim Lunseth

I really have enjoyed the app but the most recent update changed a few things with the larger 5 day forcast widget More space is required to display the same information Current Location is not an option for the widget I check the precipitation map each morning to see if it ll rain during my commute That feature is very helpful for knowing how much gear I need to keep dry while riding my bicycle Your app support email address doesn t seem to be valid anymore             Scott Olsen

Update Removed another star as I can t add widget anymore Only option is to search instead of using GPS location removed when attempting to add widget Normally not a problem but search for my location returns nothing I m in Canada so I tried New York as a test but that also returned nothing So it feels like something broke The info you can get within the app is nice and ads are not that prevalent compared to others The weather accuracy is not the best but it s decent         S Yuen

I liked this app because it had the weather hourly displayed in a readable way and I could easily access it via the widget After the update th widget stopped working and it s too many steps to access the info that I had with a couple of touches I m going to use accuweather in the meanwhile         Diana Andreia

If I could I d give it zero stars When you start the application you are given a choice between detecting your location or setting a default location If you select the latter there is no way to actually enter the default location When I tried to contact the developer my email was rejected because the developer s Microsoft s server was misconfigured So my only choice is to give a bad review The Windows 10 version works well but the Android version doesn t     F Leslie
