I ve tried all the troubleshooting tips and techniques to no avail Nothing is working nothing helps It s only gotten worse Won t sync won t read no communication between the app and the product at all App doesn t even recognise its existance even when the Fitbit is laying on top of my phone At this point Both the product and app are total garbage Refunds are not available and I m assuming you will not replace it or am I wrong about this     Christopher Saint
This is a really poor update The old app was bad but the new and improved app keeps crashing To be clear I ve just uninstalled I bought a Fitbit because of the reminders to move Now opening that feature makes it crash It also requires location services to be turned on to sync Since it s essentially a pedometer on my arm that suggests they re tracking me Not going to happen It s now connected to the Internet all the time so it s using data to track me Again not going to happen     Linda Hyggen
Updates making it WORSE They keep rolling out updates but fail to fix any of the issues 1 You cannot edit sleep logs The option is there but it won t allow you to have a different date for sleep and wake 2 Food log will default back to previous measurements even after you ve changed it multiple times 3 Sometimes you can start a challenge sometimes you can t It s a crapshoot 4 Previously advertised features were rolled out and are paid only This wasn t mentioned before     Nichole Fry

Even though my app is up up to date whenever I try to sync my device it keeps saying Looking for device My device is laying right beside of my phone My information will not sync and hasn t for several days I have tried restarting my phone turning off my Bluetooth and turning it back on logging out of the app and logging back in and finally uninstalling the app and reinstalling Nothing works This has happened twice before     Tamela Williams

Ever since this most recent update my Versa won t sync on it s own at all and I don t get any notifications on the watch anymore There s hundreds of comments in the forums about the same issue and Fitbit isn t acknowledging the issue I ve tried everything and multiple phones devices It s 100 on their end Update they just tell me to troubleshoot over and over Still doesn t do anything but that s the only help they ve offered Instead of a tracker I now just have a watch     Samantha Kereliuk
Garbage This app was fine until the update on Aug 30th Now my Ionic won t sync New update on Sept 19th didn t fix the issues I contacted fitbit support and I was told that the problem is the compatibility of the app with Android 8 0 The developers are working on fixing the app at this time but no timeline is available for when it will be released Until then my watch is worthless You can t even set the time     Dan Russell

The new UI is pretty lame I can no longer easily click on my device from the main window to check information An issue in general is the necessity to reboot my phone to get the notification service working Why can t your app restart this service on its own The supplied support steps are ineffective I ve had several devices had to return replace several due to hardware faults and now have had multiple issues with the app I m going to move onto another product     Michael Piet

I recently bought the ionic It worked fine for about 2 weeks but I haven t been able to get it to sync since Sept 3rd even after spending approx and hour on the phone with Fitbit trying to troubleshoot it I have a Galaxy S8 My Fitbit will sync to my husband s cheaper phone and to my desktop computer Hope you guys get the update that will fix this going soon Update My ionic has been syncing with no issues for about a week Everything seems to be working well I was impressed with how quickly I received a response to my initial comments                 LoRisa Fouch
Notifications for anything from my phone work about half the time on the Ionic HR I m always reinstalling the app off on factory reset etc trying to re pair it and it never seems to consistently work Email support and phone support take forever And when I finally get support and they walk me through the 55 steps to get it to work again they tell me it should never happen again But it does Works for about a couple weeks then not             Angie Ellsworth
I mainly use this app to track steps sleep water intake and the weather I like that I was able to set up a reminder to get a certain number of steps each hour I also use the timers and relax features I only have to charge it once a week I put it on my shoe when I ride my bike but that might be a setting I m not aware of and doesn t bother me I have problems with the bluetooth connection more frequently than I should It s possible my android phone may be a contributed as well                 Lois Grodsky

Since the update I cannot receive text message or phone calls on my charge 2 I have tried everything the article said I have checked all settings and both the app and my phone I have shut down restarted I have made sure it s running in the background every time it makes an update this happens but I ve been able to get it to go again It is very frustrating     smile abc abc
I have loved this app since I got my charge 2 a couple years ago Today I upgraded to a Versa 2 thinking it would be easy and better Well the first watch I got was defective or at least I thought So after a nice customer service representative told me they would happily exchange the watch but first I would have to send mine in and then they would send me a new one which takes two weeks total I just went back to Best Buy and exchanged it New watch same issue No connectivity         David Fasman
Doesn t stay connected to bluetooth After having the fitbit one I went with the Samaung watch a fee years back Last year changed to the Versa and was disappointed It doesn t stay connected to wifi was told by support this is how it s suppose to work If I go out of range of my phone and then back in range I almost always have to turn my Fitbit off then back on or turn my phone off do that it can sync again The most annoying Changing back to Samsung It s the app From the looks of it     Chelle Smitherman

I ve always loved my fitbit but I m disappointed in the app update I ve struggled with disordered eating so one of the things I appreciated about the app was the ability to customize the home screen and hide the weight and calorie information from view That has been lost with the new app set up and it makes me extremely reluctant to log on and use the app This new set up is dangerous for those with eating disorders and I hope Fitbit will take user safety seriously and fix this     Hayley Lyvers

Fitbit has worked great for years in many ways Sure it s as good at counting stairs climbed as I am at flying the space shuttle but it works It recently ditched the useful average sleep per night and replaced it with a cryptic sleep score with no option to choose between the two as your own default Beyond making the feature useless it totally ignored the community uproar over it No response no choice no customer empathy Punish companies that do that and pick one that respects you     funny seeingyouhere

I hate the new update Can t find anything The little symbol that looked like a credit card is no there Since the update my Fitbit versa is all screwed up I even took it back to Bestbuy twice and they can t figure it out My daughter just got it for me at tax time so it s not even a year old and it won t connect to my wifi pair with my phone and the Versa keeps losing time                     Sharon Martin

Since the previous update and since I ve had this Charge 2 for over a year the app has been poor at synching even with all day sync etc turned on In the last few weeks since a firmware update to the Fitbit my Fitbit is losing time between 7 and 15 minutes a day I have reset the Fitbit forgotten the device reinstalled the app none of this has resolved the issue     Rishard Parr

Considering the firmware update my Charge 2 was affected However I owned it for 2 8 years and the only other issue I had with it was the update on New Years Eve which was rectified in a couple of days Charge 2 was an excellent calculator of steps sleep exercise etc It did have some functionality issues when the firmware update happened in 2019 I did receive an offer from fitbit to replace the charge 2 for free or up grade at half price for the charge 3 which I did                 Pam Yaccarino
Disappointed I have had mm charge 2 for just over a year now and this last week of running the gps for my runs hasn t been accurate An 8 50 mile run only came out at 5 miles Everything was out I dont understand I have restarted both watch and my phone done what it says on the help pages and still doesn t work NOT HAPPY I didnt pay all that money for my watch to not work properly     Natalie Sutton

Same problem I m seeing a couple people have this update just won t let my fitbit sync It spins and spins for literally hours I have to force the app closed multiple times and it literally only syncs maybe once every 2 days despite me trying multiple times each day Super frustrating especially when trying to keep track of my hourly step goals I have the HR 2 so I m not able to see my hourly steps on my display screen Tried deleting and redownloading the app still didnt fix     Stacy DeMarco
