The Caustic 3 is now available as a free download on Google Play for Android owners. The application is designed for use in English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. The new Caustic 3 app version 3.2.0 has been updated on 2017-02-1. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. I tried it a few years ago and thought it was neat but didn t give it a proper go because I have a full studio at home and it felt limited Came back to it a few weeks ago holy moly this app is amazing I never realised it was so powerful It s actually faster for some things than my daw Best android app I ve ever bought I m thinking about donating some money to the developer because 10 for the full version seems too cheap                     Marco Vere

I use Caustic for basically all my electronic music making needs nowadays have used it for 4 years now and can confidently say that whatever you want to make in the scope of electronic music you can find a way to do it with Caustic Caustic includes crucial features for things like automation sweeps and gates recording your own samples to use with the piano roll or as a drumkit applying swing to patterns arbitrarily and or the entire track as well as several easy to use synths one modular                     Spencer Rigley

I had been using this app for years somehow not realizing there were latency settings Recently I found them and set the latency to lowest as well as portrate mode These two settings completely changed the way I enteract with the app I m blown away by the power and functionality of caustic It s amazing how many features are packed into this app Any one of the soft synths contained within are worth the full cost of the app on their own If only you could record samples to the timeline                     Ash Clayton

KILLER Absolutely killer If you just like to play around with music for fun this one is a no brainer If you re a professional looking for a sketch pad for when you re away from the studio this is a serious contender You can export Stems and MIDI and bring them into your main DAW to flesh it out further Just watch the YouTube videos to see what this is capable of I m very excited about the future of this app I think it s a game changer                     Mike Rafaniello

I love your app and having been using it for literally years now That said I have one issue and it is posing to be a major one for me otherwise would be 5 stars If live recording has been done and then I go back to the sequencer and insert a bar after moving the patterns right further it doesn t move the live recording with it This means that I need to open every single track that has recording on it and manually shift it from after the point that the new bar s were inserted             Theo Papadakis

This is an incredible app great interface with very intuitive controls You can create your own songs or just make loops it s very open ended with LOADS of instrumental variety most of which is via the PCM Synth btw if you re about to try the app out I use this app WAY more than any other app and even after having it for so long and using it so much I am STILL finding new features etc I m still growing as a musician and that is at least in part because of this amazing app                     John Long

Been using this software for music recording for years At first Caustic in both PC u0026 Mobile confuses me because of multiple racks buttons and turning knobs But over a short period of time after watching tutorials from Caustic i got used to it and damn i would say it s a Brilliant Music Recording Software In my opinion Caustic is the BEST u0026 SIMPLEST yet complex at times of all the Music Recording software out there Huge Thanks to Developers                     Iskandar Zulhilmi

This app is amazing The latency while using a midi controller can vary a bit device to device but just the fact you can use a controller with this much flexibility and functionality is mind blowing to me Excellent work I gladly paid the pro price Cheers                     gary warren

Excellent A few ideas for xtra modular blocks a single pole lp hp all pass for getting 18dB an a b a b as inverter does not exist a 4 pole legendre filter a wave folder A great app I like the way it works Maybe mute groups for instruments and switching off solo kills all the mutes set before the solo                     Simon Jackson

I ve tried out quite a bit of mobile music apps which all turned out to be more or less cool one or two trick ponies Caustic is not one of those To my knowledge it s the best and most seriously comprehensive music software you can have on your android phone on the go                     Urs Basteck

Caustic is an editor that gives a huge lot of freedom while being quite simple to use Now that I ve been making songs I realized that I needed more instruments I d love to have place for around 20 more synths that would give even more freedom it would be really awesome I hope my advice will be taken into account                 Whitehead

Well i been using this for a long time now and there was no problem at all One of the best DAW I ever had so far but one thing for sure please add more of the channels from 14 channels to maybe 18 or 20                     Test OfAll

I am using Caustic 3 as a sound module with my midi keyboard instead of hardware keyboard in live stage environment It working nice I have some requests for development of PCM Synth 1 Increase its polyphony from 8 to minimum 16 2 Make Velocity curve and velocity amount options in Filter and Volume Envelope options 3 Make portamento option 4 Make Delay option in LFO and 5 Make pitch modulation option for mod wheel of midi keyboard Thanks                     Biswapriya Biswas

Caustic is really good but not compared to fruity loops I like this though I hate the idea of buying the full version and not saying my projects So caustic for the sake of getting famous please at least make the saving and exporting available in the demo But anyway keep going and please bring more plugins             Generik Q

Best music production app by far your not going to create anything professional but you do have the ability to make melodies and beats I learned a lot about music production through this I ve now moved on to ableton on pc but caustic is a great first step                     Jensen Greenaway

Good but needs updates It s honesty a shame the devs haven t touched this gem as it has so much potential Newer phones would be capable of handling so many more plugins at once and could result in much more diverse music Sounds tend to grt very repetitious with the limit It s an enjoyable app but when you start putting multiple sounds into modulators to make one sound you ve used up a quarter of total space already So if they could add more tracks at once I d give it 5 stars                 damon harris-Brennan

A demo version that requiers a purchase to unlock saving option and other features Compared to others this one is fenomenal value for sounds user experince the first app that recognizes my midi controller even if only few minutes since it s a demo version Question when i tried to buy the unlock key i saw the message this app may not be optimized for your device If the demo works on my samsung galaxy tab s3 will the key work If i buy and it does not work how can i get a refund                 Monika B.

this app is absolutely amazing its easily the best daw for mobile devices and very easy to use i just want one thing tho which is an easier way to sample songs i don t like how i have to chop up the sample into 8 measure parts i believe it makes things harder than they need to be if you could make it so you can just put a whole song into caustic without chopping it up that would be so great                 A Google user

It have never been so much fun to be bad at making music noise I love the UI Usually when it comes to apps with so many buttons and stuff to work with it s really hard to do it without missing the button or tap the wrong one but Caustics UI is so simple and working perfect                     Emil Axelsson

Needs unlimited Channels This app was worth the money It taught me how to make music and how to create my own SFX I d like it if we had an Unlimited amount of Channels instead of just 14 Some songs need more channels especially Trance Techno and Psychedelic Other than that I love this app                     Not an Artificial Intelligence System

It s ok It is usable as an instrument for about a minute and a half I hate that I have to pay for just about EVERYTHING if I want to actually use it properly Also it left some image files of the logo as well as all the files to do with the skins hidden deep in my phone even after uninstall Not sure what s up with that but I obviously don t like it I don t think it s worth the download Sorry but if you want to charge money to make it useful in any way then that s a no from me             Keith D. I don t know why but it s taking me ages to learn how to use this and Logic Pro X but recently I decided it can mostly be visualised as a piano roll and that helps just need more control over the whole thing                 John Pollastrini

Doesn t support bass frequencies without external paid hardware such as headphones needs better phone tech to fully function as a result I prefer my S T U D I O M O N I T O R S and desktop workflow anyway EDIT giving it 1 5 now because it doesn t even support midi controller unless you pay so it s locked behind pay wall as if buying USB converter and possibly headphones for bass wasn t enough of pay wall already     Zeke Stewart
