I have had no issues with this VPN It is quite expensive so I expected an impeccable service which is what I have gotten thus far No noticeable slow downs in my streaming or downloading for example The interface is very user friendly as well and changes take effect immediately Would highly recommend if you have the money to spare                     Akini Theobalds

It doesn t work in China In the country in which it is needed it does not work I asked them to return my money not once But the VPN service said like very sorry but before you give up our application could we help you fix the settings to Express VPN works better I once agreed to this but Express VPN works still bad I wrote to the support team several times But then they did not respond to my request to return the rest of my money for the unused period Don t like their actions     Max Insider

ExpressVPN does exactly what it says it s affordable and never fails I live in Japan and use it to access Netflix Hulu and PBS on my Roku TV At home I use an ExpressVPN compatible router and have all of my devices covered by the VPN I use the app on my Pixel whenever I m using public WiFi or want to watch Netflix I will note that when I had Amazon Prime I could not get it to recognize me as being in the US but I canceled Prime shortly anyway so it s not a deal breaker for me                     Pat Thompson

I ve had a subscription for many years but recently Express VPN is a waste of money At least in the UAE PC version is slow and unreliable but at least connects Android version hasn t been able to connect for a very long time maybe a year I only kept it for so long because I use it when I travel but a subscription is not worth it anymore as it doesn t work in the UAE     Willem Coetzee

This is the worst VPN of them all When I first got to China on my 7 day free trail it worked wonderfully but then when my subscription started it got worse and worse It never connects and if it does it takes about 15 20 minutes to find a server The free VPN s are so much better Won t recommend express VPN to anyone     Elbie janse van rensburg

Useless Tried because Amazon prime blocked me at some point during streaming whilst on vacation in Malta showing Video is not available in your region Hardly enough I had just added it to my watch list amongst many other movies and started to watch it Installed then this app that promises to bypass the issue and boom Amazon tells me that I am using a vpn They knooooww Mf s Tried all the locations Same result Amazon still blocks the viewing Not doing what promised Unistalled     alan mass

After having used during 3 months the VPN highly satisfactorily in all respects I could not access anymore to RMC sports on any of my android devices After long mail exchanges with the support team they finally accepted that their vpn was not fully tested I do not know what it means with RMC and that some clients could access not sure some clients cannot Access remains for the moment on windows PCs No choice but to find another vpn allowing access to my sport Channel             Bloys Thierry

I purchased ExpressVpn to use in China It s been an absolute pain to use it though It gets advertised as one of the best VPNs to use in China and perhaps this is really the case but it continuously disconnects throughout the day I am using it on China Unicomm s network It fails me at all the worst times such as when I am trying to use a translation app to communicate with someone I will pull my phone out and see it s disconnected and then I cannot communicate Edit Dropped to 2 stars         Rob

The speed is good when you are connected No problems when I am still in my home country however after I arrived in China and used China s local cellular service it is always disconnecting approx every 10mins and very difficult to connect again Especially when you are on viber s call video call the vpn connection will suddenly disconnect Hope this China s disconnecting issue will be resolve Have a backup free VPN and havent encountered any problems on that one except a little slower speed             Romeo Juliet

I use expressvpn mainly on my sony bravia smart tv Previously it has been working well except that if I do not disconnect and sign out of my account before switching off the tv the auto connect feature hangs the tv However recently I have been unable to connect at all Either the app fails to load entirely or i am unable to key in my log in details         Chan Ying Ling

Okay let me first start by saying I ve had Express for almost a year and it s been a very solid VPN for general surfing and downloads However there is much room for improvement ExpressVPN let s start with the small number of locations however they are solid servers the selection is rather small Secondly I have not came across an option for doubleVPN services for added security But the most disappointing is that Hulu detects ExpressVPN and refuses to play Fix these for the extra 5             C. It s got a great UI but the app is buggy in that I cant just leave it on at all times because it will always screw up at some point over the next few hours and just cut off my internet without notification until I kill the app If I dont notice its cut my connection which I never do because it doesn t alert me then I wont receive any important messages on WhatsApp or Slack sometimes until hours later when I realise which has caused me problems with both work and friends         Steve Argyll

Expensive but it works well and does exactly what it s supposed too I switched from PIA because some of the websites I use a VPN to access block most VPNs including PIA They block SOME of the Express VPN servers too but so far I m always able to find at least one that works The Express VPN moles work overtime to avoid being whacked                     Michael allen

I have been using Express VPN in China for last 4 years I have constantly been facing conniving issues I have kept Express VPN as an additional option because you can t trust any alien VPN based outside China VPN in China I wish Chinese authorities make the restrictions less or Express VPN might come up with break through engineering but till then you have to rely only on local China based VPNs     Asif Riaz

I dont think I would recommend this app It only does the usual things other VPN apps do for free It keeps disconnect itself For example I can t keep connected to ZOOM more than 5 minutes It s a waste of money     maria adam

Recent update made pixel 3 restart routinely And it routinely made my phone freeze even when the VPN was working correctly Has to be an issue either with Android 9 or the pixel because I have expressvpn installed on my tablet with no issues     Adrian Hoffman
