App used to work Now it doesn t work at all I used to be able to listen to music without manually turning on the app now I have to turn it on first and there s an annoying notification that HAS to be there for it to scrobble and it doesn t even scrobble 70 of the time Idk what you did with your new updates but your app doesn t work anymore     Simona

Worked perfectly for years now several updates in a few days and it broke then it worked again and now it s broken again Think I m gonna have to look for a different app now I d pay money for this app is you rolled it back to the old version tbh     Finn Poulton Bennett

No idea what they have done with this app since I last used it but I just installed it and now it asks for lots of permissions for unclear reasons and it also shows a permanent empty notification The permanent notification is absolutely unacceptable for any app and doesn t even fill any function here what so ever since it s completely empty except for the app name There are also nonsensical error messages displayed if you try to proceed without giving the app all permissions         Max Jonsson

Tried relogin and apps still not detected v 1 6 7 does not scrobble I reinstalled and logged in and it will not even detect any supported music apps anymore even as music is playing from PowerAMP What is going on This app was working fine until about two weeks ago and was seemingly fixed until about 9 16 when this new update saw all the previous issues return Please fix     Derek Zender

EDIT All of it sudden it works don t know why and whatnot but it works Original Review It won t scrobble via Poweramp in the current version I tried everything The previous version was flawless and didn t have this problem I doubt anything will be done to fix this No reason to fix what wasn t broken in the first place                 STICKY GLUE

Latest update has screwed it up again scrobble cache doesn t clear even though it s scrobbled it crashes when trying to check settings especially the enabled app settings it s rubbish It was the best for years and years and now it s just utter bilge     Paul Brake

This is a good app I ve used it for almost two years But the only thing the new updates erase any cached scrobbles And after one updates scrobbles don t automatically resume until one opens the app post update Just make sure you scrobble before you update and open the app after you update so you don t lose any data                     Thursday Simpson

I ve been using Last fm for yrs to scrobble plays in Windows apps Winamp yrs ago foobar2000 u0026 Spotify or local player on phone Now since recent Simple Scrobler integration the scrobble cache keeps selecting the SAME flac song from my Android N LG M327 s aka LG X Charge ext SD storage 1 or 2x EVERY day out of many stored songs it could pick from and listing it as played on an app that I dont even have it ids as LG music player or similar Song not assoc w ringtone alarm or         Nathan Alan

Please let it just work Every time this app updates it resets initial settings and clears scrobble cache I just lost about 300 song scrobbles because of it Everything was fine until this app started to be updated often and I don t really see any differences comparing to older versions of Simple Scrobbler             Pavel Sedlinskiy

Everything is working fine now It still doesn t recognize repeats but I like the new way it saves scrobbles so I ll adapt to it Also I m not sure why it would need storage permission but I can understand why it needs notifications permission Works fine with just that permission                     Syntaj

Works very well The only nit I have is that the initial setup is a bit clunky in that the app has to recognize apps as you play music in them which sometimes takes a song to kick in But that s quickly over and then everything seems to work just as expected                     Austin Smith

It used to work really well until few weeks ago Now It keeps logging out of lastfm for some reason There is a persistent notification with two buttons Love Copy and there is no option within the app to remove it I dont like that notification Doesnt scrobbles anything to Lastfm even when it is logged in             Ishan Jain

Nothing but problems since the update Confusing permissions and options no scrobbling annoying always on notifications even after disabling active app notifications Was great before the recent series of updates Shouldn t have fixed it it wasn t broken     Matt Miller

Has worked perfectly for me for nearly two years Just installed the new update 1 6 1 which wiped all settings and credentials Set everything back up and even went into Poweramp to make sure the scobble via Simple LastFM box was checked and nothing Hasn t captured a single song all day         Sandon Fetters

Had this App for years with no issues Now it does not scrobble my music from Google play It s been 5 days now since it worked I m logged in and everything Google play is listed as a known source EDIT works now And it seems to have scrobbled the missed tracks                     Kevin

Works Fluently for years I wish we could se support for Pi Music Player edit Always updating but still doesn t scrobble from that app Doesn t appear on the enabled apps list after playing music from it edit just yesterday it worked with Pi I am very happy now                     Yiannis Nomikos

What used to be simple has now lost its porpuse It asks for permissions that doesn t make sense for a simple Scrobbler There are better options out there     the jorsias

The new version 1 6 4 now detects new apps caches the tracks shows now playing on Last fm but the tracks don t scrobble on Last Also some apps that used to scrobble properly started to show the same behaviour             Marina Ninefold

I updated to the newest version again this time it notifies the tracks as now playing but never submits scrobbles I am logged in on my last fm account but the app doesn t submit scrobbles it just shows that they re playing     Porcelynne
