Great virtual keyboard with modern features such as swiping multi language and GIFs Predictive text is a mixed bag but that s an inherent problem with most keyboards One annoyance is the tendency for the keyboard to suddenly disappear in the middle of typing pretty sure it s due to apps switching focus but it s still irritating nonetheless Lots of themes that are well designed and don t look cheap like some other 3rd party keyboard themes out there                 Yawhann Chong

I can t get the voice control to Auto capitalize names and the first letter of every sentence Otherwise it s a great app I enjoy not having to sit and thumb type out all my texts and messages it s just so much easier to talk to the phone and watch as my phone types it all up for me Modern technology is just amazing Thank you                 Viking Power

This was a hard toss up with SwiftKey Punctuation options are a little OTT in my opinion maybe that is because I m used to using SwiftKey and haven t yet adjusted but this is by far the best keyboard From the haptic feedback default keyboard sound as well as options to select more auto space after punctuation also currently only available on English US but it still works fine with only a few select words compared to English UK You won t regret this download NEW DAILY DRIVER                     Liam Lashley

Almost perfect but 1 I wish Chinese and Japanese keyboards were a part of this one instead of being different apps 2 I am in China and although I downloaded all the necessary language packs it still doesn t recognize my speech without VPN I mean why do you need internet connection to recognize what I say                 Karnen Caldo

Two things one the calibration for certain word pairs work vs with are vs after doesn t vs didn t is vs if vs of etc is very poor lending to more time fixing issues than writing Secondly before you can rate the program the settings menu asks if you like it If not it doesn t send you to the ratings system instead only sending you deceptively to a feedback form It d have been 3 stars otherwise The discontinued Swype by Dragon Dictation was the gold standard This one sucks     Danny Bothwell

I ve been changing keyboards here and there but as much as I m concerned and trying to avoid Google to have more data from what I typed this Gboard still the most complete I ve ever encountered Switching between language inputs keypad numbers and predictive texts are helpful The only thing it lacks is it s a heavy app sometimes lagged and slow                 Serena Pynta

This keyboard is absolutely fantastic specially it s verbal mode where you don t have to write You just have speak and it will type for you However this mode should also work when offline Secondly it sometimes don t go along with the speaker and stopped typing during dictation which requires definite improvement                     AK khattak

So far I think its pretty user friendly 6 but the assistant thing is just plain invasive to be listening to everything I say hearing all my good ideas etc but it really throws off my game when I m slinging it to my girlfriend sup babygirl u0026 it chimes in like she s in the room to lend us a hand so to speak I know some folks charge people to listen in on their bedroom sessions on the web so really I think y all owe us about 3K ya know Google But Gboard is a class act             Jordan Hazucha

My favorite feature is being able to customize the time it takes to hold down a key before it turns into a special character like a letter X into the quotation marks You can also resize the keyboard and even keep eliminate the numbers row at the top of your keyboard Love it Galaxy Note 8 no glitches ever                     Alvaro Sandoval

I like being able to access many functions and or features from Gboard I wont go higher than 3 stars because I cannot seem to find a sweetspot in which my typing is at all natural or remotely without numerous repetitive to the point I ve had people comment that my typos are unique and annoying errors which I ve yet to get a handle on Ive had the same model of phone for more than 2 years             Gina Clark

Nothing too terrible except the spell check and autocorrect 8 10 times when I spell a word wrong the keyboard either won t come up with the correct option or will show the the word is spelled incorrectly but has no suggestions Another thing I really wish it had is the ability to schedule text messages I used that all the time with the Android keyboard             Sarah Arave

Way too cumbersome to add words to Personal dictionary with 14 clicks start to finish 7 to the right Settings option selection 7 to return to source app like Text messenger Need easier way of adding to Personal dictionary ideally as user types offering to save unrecognized misspelled words to Personal dictionary ideally in the keyboard or a pop up option Or even a shortcut to add to dictionary on homescreen would be better than current way         Peter M

The softkeys are often represented inaccurately Often the keys across my screen are either not entered at all yet a tap on some keys will enter two characters I would like to have font choices similar to the Samsung keyboard softwares allows and the misspelled word correcting software is somewhere between bad and fair Finally some of therly keyboard settings are poorly done and there is no Help function Two caveats I have large fingers but my on screen digitizes is working correctly         Dave Gallagher

Waaayyyyy better than the default Samsung s10e keyboard I ve only been using gboard for 10 minutes and I m kicking myself for not downloading it months ago Word prediction is so much better than Samsung and the voice typing on Samsung was worthless for me maybe I have a bad voice Google understands me even when I talk very fast Highly recommend it                     George Miller

This keyboard has gotten worse all the time to the point that anymore when I type I have to constantly go back and make corrections because even though I ve pressed all the keys to spell the word or put in a space the keyboard glitches out and wont type them For example when I typed the word constantly it instead typed this cstalty When I typed I type it typed itype without a space even though I pressed it Key sounds change to a hollow sound the longer I type as well fix it     Gregory Kennedy

My only discrepancy is with the microphone It doesn t type the words I wanted to and it types words that I didn t even ask it to I don t type so I use the microphone and it takes forever to get the words to show up and where they do they re not even what I asked it to say If the microphone worked better because I can t type it would be a 5 100 I love this keyboard other no the Nike shox see what I mean I m sure you all know pocket bike prints what I want otherwise it would be fun hahaha                 Wyatt Gade

When the keyboard I loved ended I wasn t sure what to do After trying a few other apps I gave up and started using the shudder default I actually like this keyboard It works almost like the one I used to use and now I discovered it has a 10 key feature I am always more comfortable using 10 key                     Neil Haagensen

Yo I find it maddening that all of my I s are automatically lower case and there is no way I can find to adjust this setting dictionary option Tried removing lower case i from dictionary multiple times Tried selecting the upper case suggestion multiple times This lower case i thing is making me feel like I is illiterate Rar                 JenW1000

it really gives you the best quality of all languages and it has a lot of varieties in options and so far I haven t had any problems with it which is good news would totally recommend this to anyone who wants more customisations languages in different dialects and great optional settings                     DR34M

2 of the apps main features are trash I would give your app more stars if it worked properly when using basic features Speech to text doesn t understand English and it cuts off whenever it wants to And let there be a situation where you have to manually go back and make a correction You can t just simply drop the cursor and make corrections You have to erase the entire sentence when you start typing in your correction or it will enter in the letters in random spots within your sentence     Doc Martn

I like that this keyboard is customizable in themes I like the layout of the keys and symbols also except that there needs to be a small separation between the m key and the backspace key Most times when I m pressing the keys to type I delete what was previous to the m because I manage to hit the backspace instead It also interferes when swiping to type because it doesn t recognize that I m starting a word with an m I do like this keyboard otherwise and it had fun emojis and gifs as well                 Dawn Baker

It s heavy especially when programming in a good editor Python works fine but html js cpp and kotlin just make this keyboard unusable I ve reported the problem a while ago I guess it was analyzed by a bot of some kind that doesn t work but that google is so proud of Can t really use any other keybord because they usually lack the technology Sometimes I m scared of the amount of things it knows                 Kacper Tomasik

Had no idea what I was missing out on Been using years old and retried nuanice swype dragon because I did not know there was anything worthy Since using a Google pixel I realized how much more clean and nice the Google apps are over Samsung s UI on my Galaxy so many wonderful customization Only option a dev could add for be would be the ability to swipe from the key under the capital shift key to give auto correct options such as hey Hey u0026 HEY Unless I m missing a setting or short cut                     Benjamin Dubuisson

This is pretty good It seems quite accurate for learning other languages ie with plural forms of nouns when I make flash cards It is also quite sophisticated as when it offers the names of main colours in capitalized first letter form as well as non capitalized first letter form On one keyboard the y was in a strange place but perhaps I can change that                 Karin Meyer

I love that it suggests emojis and knows my contacts names remembers and syncs across devices and has great themes Smart suggestions and swipe utilization has greatly improved over the last year I m back on board PS the Emojis are great and the ability to search through them is key There s also a ton of customization options of you re into that I am                     Cari F

I ve been trying to find a replacement for Swype now that I ve switched phones and they no longer support their product After four other top rated keyboards the Gboard is what I ve been looking for The only thing that would make it better more customization options like colors etc Five stars if it continues to meet or exceed expectations after a week                 Matt Hoover

Overall not bad but There s some secret gesture or something in the lower right corner that I always seem to hit that transforms into a floating keyboard mid message I can never replicate at will to try to figure out what to avoid doing SUPER ANNOYING and a pain to get out of and back into message NEED to be able to turn feature off                 Trent Novak

Only problem is that voice typing is functioning weird I know nothing is perfect but u can try keyboard from Iflytek as they did a good job on it but not the other things You can also improve in the number pads try making it not enter on the bottom right as I don t really feel comfortable with it A personal custom made keyboard layout is something that will work         A Google User
