I ve used this app for 6 years The features are great easy to use and the UI is easy on the eyes I used the widget to have a large clock on my home screen I LOVED this app but the Android Pie update killed it Alarms no longer work The widget clock doesn t work properly The app constantly starts and restarts but never actually does anything I m really disappointed that this glitch with the new OS has broken the app and there are no dev notes about working on a fix     Sarah Schmidt

Have used this app for years and used to love it However like many other recent reviews it no longer works correctly on Android 10 Pixel 3A XL In order to snooze dismiss I have to unlock the phone find the notification click it to open the app and then do the exact same thing I used to be able to do in one step Will be uninstalling and finding something else     Jenn Campbell

This used to be my favorite alarm app It was even a Google recommend app a few years ago I ve noticed that that recommendation is now gone As most people are saying now after the Android 10 update it is useless It no longer opens when an alarm goes off It is just a notification So you have to find that notification in the sea of notifications you have received over night It s annoying Unfortunately I m going to have to uninstall this     Milton Montaque

This was my favourite app until it broke IF YOU KNOW OF ALTERNATES PLEASE TELL ME I tried probably hundreds of alarm clock apps before finding Timely 5 years ago Timely was fantastic it was the first app I could easily use Setting alarms is SO easy I could easily set 50 alarms to keep me on track and then dismiss them all And because of the visual way alarms are set I could set alarms even when my brain was too tired to figure out numbers I knew how much into the day I needed to wake up and could just drag it that far It s one of a very few apps where I spent the money for the paid version ASAP Several months ago as many other folks noted timely stopped working properly The first time I noticed this was January of this year The app froze at a particular time which means I missed a bunch of alarms because they didnt go off Going into the app and switching to the clock screen would force it to suddenly sync and then I d get notifications for all the alarms that should have happened in that time It didnt happen again for awhile but throughout the year it s happened more and more and more In May I wrote the developer a long email detailing the issue and providing screenshots showing my phone time in the top bar and the timely widget stuck at a time hours earlier I never got a reply I m guessing that bitspin is no more and I ve been on the hunt for a new alarm clock for awhile but so far havent found anything good let me know if you find anything     A A

I have a Pixel 3A XL updated the Android 10 It breaks my heart to put a one star on this app Just like everyone else I ve experienced the same problems that the alarm and the timer do not work unless the app is open It is a fantastic app that I ve used for many years quite successfully But it is so broken now and I wish someone would fix it If it s true that Google has ownership this app is doomed     Robin Davis

I really love Timely I have had it for a few years now It has cute themes that you can customize It allows me to use sounds that I have downloaded as my alarm tone However recently I cannot go to my alarms For a few days I couldn t even open the app It would kick me out I turned off my phone I restarted my phone several times to try to make it work and uninstalled and reinstalled Unfortunately I will no longer be using this app but had a very positive experience when I was able to             Livia Jackson

After my Pixel 3 XL updated to Android the alarm will sound but does not appear on the screen I have to unlock my phone pull down the notifications turn off the do not disturb press the alarm notification push the arrow to expand the notification and then press dismiss With the time all that takes it also wakes up my wife well before her alarm goes off I waited a week for them to update the app but nothing happened I have to uninstall and find a new one now I Ioved this app     Erik Hanson

This app has been my go to Since my system update yesterday it no longer works properly with a snooze button that pops onto the home screen Have to fumble through the phone to shut it off or snooze I m looking forward to changing my rating back to 5 stars It has been elegant and the best alarm clock I ve used Until yesterday Pulling for an update     Steve Cornwell

I really love this app and I ve been using this app for about six years now However one of the big problems I have with this app is that I m not able to set multiple timers It would be really helpful if I could do that when I m cooking etc If you guys could add the feature of multiple timers and the ability to name those multiple timers this app would be flawless and I would definitely give it five stars PLEASE ADD MULTIPLE TIMERS Thanks                 My Name is Apropos

This app used to be great but with Android 10 you no longer get the snooze dismiss screen You have to unlock your phone the normal way go to the notification from Timely and there you can snooze the alarm I ve also just had the alarm straight up not go off on Android 10 which is unacceptable Such a shame it was so much better than the stock alarm     Nicklas Wandel

This app is broken with Android 10 on a Pixel 3 XL Alarms do not pop up on screen and you have to fish through the notifications in order to dismiss or snooze them You had plenty of time to test and update the app prior to the release of Android 10 Apparently this was not done When attempting to contact you through your email address that you have listed all you get is a canned response stating that you are no longer accepting feedback through your email     Nathan Bronemann

I m having the same experience as many people now after my Pixel 2 updated to Android 10 Mainly the snooze dismiss screen does not come up when the alarm sounds Need to unlock phone pull down the notification clock into Timely then dismiss I wouldn t have rated this so low if the team had fixed this issue sooner and I will change the rating back to a 5 once it is resolved The app is otherwise excellent         Joe Kolodz

used to be great but in the last month it started going off at 5 45 am a time i do not have an alarm set for and doesn t go off at 6 15 a time i DO have an alarm set for I ve checked for other phone synced times and it s not that I ve made sure the days are set correctly and they are i I don t know if it s a Galaxy S10 problem or an app problem but i can no longer trust this alarm Makes me sad in a way because it s a great app that I ve used for years Hope this gets addressed and fixed         Travis Lide

Does not work properly with Android 10 Pixel 2 After the upgrade to the OS Timely s alarms still play but it does not appear in place of the lock screen This means to snooze or silence I have to unlock the phone pull down to see notifications go to the bottom and find alarm tap that then the Timely screen with Snooze and swipe up appears Prior to Android 10 it works great Definitely my favorite alarm app before it stopped working on my particular phone If you are not on Android 10 I can and do recommend Timely it s beautiful and works well I m hoping the developer updates for the new OS and if so this goes back to 5 stars             Mike S.

This is actually a 5 star app but it stopped working as expected on Android Pie unless Power Saver mode was disabled now with Android 10 I can t get the Alarm function to work regardless of Power Mode My alarms go off but the app doesn t open in the foreground as it did should I have to scroll up u0026 down the list of notifications trying to find timely while my eyes adjust to consciousness Not good Alarms Timer Stopwatch and clock all work just fine It s a good looking app with some of my favorite alarm sounds I hope a long overdue update comes out for it         Scott Livingston

Broken on Android 10 This has been my default alarm app on Android for a number of years Unfortunately you can no longer turn off the alarm from the lock screen on Android 10 Pixel 2XL Instead when yhe alarm goes off you have to unlock the phone open the app and shut off the alarm from there Hopefully this will be fixed soon             Ian Silver

This app is not fully compatible with Android Q and the developer doesn t seem to care If you are running Q on your device stay away The alarm function is reduced to nothing more than a standard Android notification under Android Q making alarms very difficult and clumsy to manage Sad because Timely used to be a great alarm clock app Until this app is properly updated my 1 star review will remain     Jason Johnson

have used it for years it s works perfectly looks lovely and has no unnecessary bs edit Android 10 has affected this app a little for me the alarm controls no longer appear on the lock screen I have to unlock the phone go to the Timley notification and tap it to get Timely to appear which allows me to complete the mini puzzle For everyone else having issues with it not working at all tell the Android not to let the Timely app sleep                     Dave O'Keeffe

Well Timely has widely been my favourite alarm and timer app on Android for many years but today after updating to Android 10 I get an alert that says this app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly And it doesn t I no longer get a dismiss snooze screen when the alarm goes off and have to open the app from the drawer to dismiss snooze Since the company was acquired by Google and has not updated the app in over a year I m concerned that they have abandoned it             Shane Waldeck

I love this app Tried and true has never let me down and has worked on every device I ve had though I have only had androids I like gradual volume increase progressively shorter snoozes big snooze button versus swipe up dismiss to avoid accidental dismissal and the ability to make numerous alarms I have no suggestions for improvements at this time                     Agi

Well it s been a year since the last update so I think I have to finally give up While Android is supposed to allow alarms to trigger on battery saver this app does not seem to be able to do so Even when I try and find settings to allow it it doesn t go off I think the salt in the wound is when I turn on my phone after it was supposed to go off It takes several seconds to realize it was supposed to go off and then says it played for some outrageous amount of time when it obviously hasn t             Garrett Leach

So sad this app no longer works I loved the interface and have been using it for several years I updated to an s9 and timely crashes as soon as I open it I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and as soon as i link a backup account it becomes inoperable The app crashes often on my old S7 as well but I have been able to still use it albeit with the same troubles several other reviewers have mentioned     Karen Klapoetke-Poirier

I am also seeing the same problem that everyone else is seeing when I am on Medium power the alarms do not go off because the time is not getting updated I guess the app is not allowed to run when the screen is off because when I turn the screen back on I notice the time is not updated the older version of Android use to allow you to add apps to run always That seemed to go away and Timely has not updated to accommodate I a sent an email to the Timely Support but never heard back         Glenn Davis

Great app used it for years Since Android 10 the alarms go off but it does not popup on the foreground and I have to go hunting through any app notifications to find the alarm For those having problems with alarms not going off and showing snoozed after 45 minutes Disable Battery Optimization for timely I noticed that happening to me a while back when Battery Saver was on and I would miss my alarms                 Tim Whitehead

I loved this app Keyword Loved Recently I assigned a custom tone tm from zedge to an alarm and its stopped working right since I even went in to remove the tone on another decive setting it to a default one Still crashed Then tried removing the alarm Still crashing Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Still crashing Sorry to have to leave the app i really loved it but if all it does is crash Its not really useful anymore             Rhys SilverWind

Perfect program that has never done me wrong However I updated to Android 10 and we seem to be having some difficulty with the screen opening on its own The alarm will go off but only show the home screen which is very difficult to turn off from there Are there any plans to tackle the issues with Android 10                     Brandon Gainforth

best clock timer app but what kills this is the annoying little stuff 1 snooze button you cant get rid of I dont have problems waking up in the morning I don t need or want a snooze button 2 swipe up to cancel the alarm doesn t work most of the time and if the phone is in landscape mode you swipe into the snooze button can t i just have a button to cancel the alarm 3 the dismiss alarms link in the notification drop down doesn t do anything add options and this app would be great             Icallit Likeiseeit

Stopped working ages ago on Samsung galaxy s8 after an update and hasn t worked for about a year now The alarm goes off but there is no sound then when you press a button and wake up the phone the alarm sound starts ringing But that s useless as you have to be awake to press a button on your phone Please fix     Henry Grenville

This WAS an amazing app Customizable and very polished But since Android pie the alarm or timer will not sound audibly if the screen times out or you navigate to another screen I ve emailed them several times and have not received an answer Online searches show that I m not the only one with this issue Hopefully they fix it soon UPDATE was working on my new s10 very well for several months But now it s experiencing the same issues Looks like these developers have disappeared Shame     Abbasali Kermalli

Unacceptable for an alarm app the alarm doesn t go off I set 2 alarms and neither went off This happened before a couple months ago I thought maybe my phone update messed with it so I uninstalled and installed again It worked for a while and now it s not working AGAIN You would think MONTHS of MANY reviews saying it has this issue they would have finally fixed the problem Nope If not for this huge problem it would actually be the best alarm available It s such a shame     Kristin Mora

I ve been using Timely for years through several device changes and it s always worked great until now On my new Samsung S10 the Snooze function doesn t work properly I tap to snooze but the alarm keeps ringing If I try to long press the Snooze button deselects itself and the alarm keeps ringing It often takes me 5 or 6 tries to get it to snooze sometimes more Please address this bug it s the only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars             Jeff Kalmar

there are lots of good things about this app it has useful features and is easy to use however one very frustrating thing about it is that it does not work at all in battery saver mode unlike the default alarm that works just fine the alarms simply never go off if battery saver mode is on this is very frustrating to me as i typically leave it on most of the day i don t know if there is a way to fix this but I hope they can             Malachi Neff
