This app is so flawed Like others say it wants to update but when you head over to Google play no update available So you re left with an app that keeps losing speakers and asks you to update with every press of a button Infuriating By a Sonos 100s of pounds spent on Soundtouch for this Update Much better less buggy Thanks Bose Still has a few issues which require a re pairing but I sometimes go months without it when I travel So I m happy                 Tim Johnson

Upgrade wiped out my saved stations and new search tune in couldn t find them when searched Total bull Don t upgrade Two or more further updates hoping for better Last one couldn t find my speakers Just got latest time will tell Speakers are first class as we all know the app is complete bs I would no recommend either now if they remain dependant on each other such a shame     A Google user

My only criticism would be not being able to create a play queue on Spotify to line up a few songs to play through this can be easily overcome by using the actual spotify app as you can stream music to WiFi devices on there but doing it in the same app as managing your speaker groups etc would be better Other than that it s great                 Robert Smith

Kudos to Bose for developing such a great app It has a few bugs which only took many pro pest control visits to rid of 1 or 2 Connection is really good u0026 reliable like 2 cups attached by a very long string Connection only takes as long as my 95 yr old Grandma to finish a 42km marathon Keeps reminding you have a Bose coz you have to reconnect the speakers every other day IF the app finds them Great Keep up the good work you 3rd graders at Bose Ru0026D Good thing I also have a SONOS system     Christopher Lee

Have listened for years wth this and has never let me down the only people who get let down are the people who make the CD s sorry guys for that but you would need a warehouse size space to store what l listen to through the online method I just love it since moving house years ago my stereo is still in the box Keep promising myself a sound bar now we re in a bigger space Keep you posted             Dylan Jones

Love love love the sound of this speak The app is bulky and is very hard to navigate if you have a large music collection There needs to be a search index for selectiing tracks And a way to create a now playing queue Thank you             michelle henneman

I m not a techie but I really like this app combined with my Bose SoundTouch 20 Pandora plus streaming from all over the world via Wi Fi 5 stars Revision Sep 09 2019 Twice in the past 4 weeks this app says my Bose 20 can t be found Interesting because the speaker is attached to the network verified by my router app So it advises you to reconnect the speaker again and again and again Solution Manually power your speaker on and lo and behold it is in fact connected                     Scot Covert

I ve had a SoundTouch 20 speaker for 2 years now and I have to tell anyone thinking of getting these Bose speakers to just move to something else I gave it to my wife for Christmas and it sits unplugged on our counter 90 of the time Waste of money The sound quality is great just what you d expect from Bose but the SoundTouch App makes it unusable Music Services are always changing and updates are often without any noticeable improvement I wish I could get my money back     Scott Rymer

So Bose staff All of your apps and products are missing the following 1st sleep timer If you dont have the intention of puting one in place at least dont overdrive the one from other app spotify 2nd EQ To have a good product is great To have agood product that you can tweek to the style of music you listen to make it great Fyi my 50 wireless earbuds offer it whit it s app Your 250 one dont 3rd I you ask in app if there are missin feature at least leave a space to write it down         Martin Lacasse

The app gets stuck in a cycle when the speaker needs an update or if it loses power After selecting the speaker you re asked to help it get into set up mode pressing 2 and buttons until amber light stays on under the wifi icon then you get a wait screen for a few minutes before returning to the speaker selection page to start the process over I ve had the speaker and the app for years on different phones and it was functional in the past now I have this useless speaker     Aradia Wyndham

I cant complain about the speaker quality and sound quality its the reason i buy Bose But its the only reason The app is appauling and the software for the speaker is shoddy it struggles daily to use any wifi radio or spotify Essentially its a glorified bluetooth speaker at this point which is fine But i expected better         Duncan Ellis

I dont write reviews so for me to be driven to this is something else Before I start lets just say this is a review about the app and connectivity control not about the speakers the sound is great as are most Bose products The App connectivity software upgrades are probably the worst I have ever expereinced First you have to connect the speakers to your PC to get the whole thing started then every couple of weeks the whole thing just forgets you have any speakers and it takes 20 minutes to re connect them all Then you get a software upgrade this is not optional and it blocks the screen on the app till you do it so when I have friends round and you are playing some music and suddenly a software upgrade appears you now loose access and control to play any music Utter rubbish So sound quality 10 10 software connectivity app from a company as big as Bose 0 10     Andy Vallance

The app and desktop software is so frustrating Every time I go to connect via my mobile it can t find the device so I have to muck around trying to connect it When I do eventually connect it almost always has to do a software update on the actual speaker this will take about 20 minutes Every time All I wanted to do was connect to turn up the volume It s a good speaker but I avoid using either the app or the desktop app All I need now is for it to lose the station settings when it updates that ll push me over the edge         Isabel Mason

This app updates way too much It s bad but every time you want to use it at home and needs to update so that means you can t use your music for 15 20 minutes at all while your systems update It should to update on it s own when you re not using it like other apps If you listen to Spotify it doesn t let you use the repeat option on your phone if I m in the mood to listen to one song 15 times that s exactly what I want to do Do better Bose             Antonio Hill

Your last forced update destroyed my system I can only see one of four of my soundtouch devices from the app All are connected to Wi Fi i can see them on my router System worked perfectly before update Updates ALWAYS cause issues Stop making them mandatory They NEVER do anything good Fix the app or give me my money back Sonos is hassle free Doesn t sound as good but it works     Kevin O'Grady

okay I m a patient guy but it is so freaking ridiculous it takes me way to long to connect to a speaker I feel I have to request a day off of work just to set it up wi fi If I put this app next to Windows 10 update it not only loses it hasn t finished the race I was always told Bose was the best for sound but honestly I wouldn t know as I just wait I am wishing I bought a sono s this app should be scraped and rebuilt because I have no clue what the hell its doing besides making me wait     Marcus Isakson

The app gives you many choices for source content and for output to different speakers but it took a while to learn and I wouldn t call it intuitive or easy to use It can be quirky and do unexpected things but it usually does what I want I have used it every day for a couple of years and the Bose speakers I have 6 sound great all over the house I WOULD buy it again and recommend it but a training video on YouTube is needed for newbies Maybe someone has made one                 Hank Hope

The App works well and does what it says it does I have had no issues and am happy I am more disappointed with the radio that I am the app The radio only allows for 6 preset stations The app was recently updated to give you extra presets I wish Bose had the forethought to include 12 presets out of the box                 Jeff Ts2d90e
