I ve been trying to ween myself off of Google for a while and this is it Sure there s no mail but I got that secure elsewhere but this app and the desktop is brilliant Searched for hours before duckduckgo finally gave me the heads up Great contacts Easy to sync calendar and fab tasks and notes Everything I need                     A Mazing A Google user

Installed and had to go through a convoluted setup procedure and I only have access to a task list I can t find the calendar for all the swiping The reviews look like there is a calendar so why should it make me use the native app Fyi I am sure that support will respond to this post as they have done for most reviews but there is no contact support option in the app     Unintuitive no calendar Teodor Geiger

For those who think the app doesn t work log into the fruux website to connect the device just logging in to app isn t enough It will then sync with the default agenda of your phone not an agenda within the app itself 4 stars because the above isn t sufficiently explained by the de devs                 Jermain Wijnhard

Up until a few weeks ago it s worked very well but lately it sporadically loses the profile linked to my fruux calendar I ve reconfigured it several times but the issue persists I know of other people using Android and iOS experiencing the same issue             Repeatedly crashes unlinking calendar Dale Gallagher

Even after reading reviews which is apparently the only way to learn how to set this up I still could not figure out how to view or add a calendar in this app I was excited for a Google alternative but I m not convinced this even has a calendar feature in the app at this point Waste of time     Matt Chrostowski

Saves having to enter the account details manually Just enter the Fruux login info and Cal Cards and Tasks are automatically set up On Android 2 3 I found that launching the app can instead of going to the sync settings bring up tasks But can still get to the sync settings by going through the android settings app Edit I installed this and saw some strange behavior with my CalDAV sync conduit which lost the ability to view my Radicale calendars causing a nasty hang in CalDAV sync Disabling and removing the Fruux app restored CalDAV sync functionality Just a heads up for those using other sync conduits There may be other factors involved and perhaps only stopping and restarting CalDAV sync was necessary BTW setting up a Fruux acct in CalDAV sync is painless and works well                 Nice for setup but a little buggy otherwise T Mst

If you need something as powerful as google for everyday tasks this the must own app And it s not only a device app you can use it on the computer with the web interface Keep up the good work fruux                     Awsome Alex B.

I really like the fruux service was a paying customer for years great syncing between all kind of platforms except android This app has been horrible and maybe there are good reasons for it But this app shouldn t even be in the play store imho I finally got fruux working but with davdroid         Anton Leblanc

Solid sync agent Takes a bit of setup for an android phone but since then it s been smooth sailing The web user interface is surprisingly well done and I ll often just log in to it to manage stuff rather than through phone apps                     A Google user

fruux itself is a decent calender service but the app features just the task mangement tool and the sync service for the calender You need an additional app for your calender On the sync part it does an okay job                 Hannes
