Does anyone know if this app has been abandoned This page states it was last updated August 6 2013 I am all for Google leaving apps in the store 1 if they still work and 2 the developer states as this one does that it does not work with Android versions 6 and above But I also think Google Play should put a bold disclaimer on the top of the first Google Play Store page for every abandoned app that states something like NOTICE WARNING CAUTION take your pick Development and Support ceased for this product on August 6 2013 However it should still work for Android versions 2 2 through 5 1 I was in the process of writing the developer a suggestion for a new feature when I noticed there has not been a release in six years Then discovered his website is no more I have 197 apps installed on my cell phone I am always looking shopping evaluating installing and uninstalling apps It is very frustrating when one is spending time comparing apps only to find out an app was abandoned years ago I ve never understood Google s reasoning for not having filters for apps in the play store Free Paid Active Abandoned 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star         Frederick Peters

I don t know maybe it s just the LG but everyone keyboard I try works fine for about 5 min then the keyboard icon appears the keyboards state replacing regular words with gibberish and gets all glitching and then Android system tells me to change it out back to square on     W.E Johnson

Finally a customizable keyboard that is expandable Worth the money paid I only wish it had better error correction and learning from my words For example I often hit close to the right keys but yet words but even remotely close are displayed using the exact same typing on Google s keyboard it works exactly as I wanted Not sure how I feel about this keyboard but since I already paid for it I ll keep trying to use it I had to write this with Google s keyboard swiping otherwise it wouldn t be legible             Very happy with this keyboard but the word prediction doesn t work for my style of writing Josh Clark

I mean I love the convenience of adding custom words to the dictionary and being able to dock the arrows to the top But if I have to manually correct the word three to the EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to type the word that s freaking ridiculous Do you know how many times a person can use the word the in a day that the keyboard can NEVER get right This should be able to lean typing habits         Ready to uninstall Sarah Toman

I have a Galaxy S2 and since the ICS update the standard swype keyboard keeps malfunctioning and I have really gotten used to it and actually like it too So I decided to give this one a try and it seemed to work great at first but now it s just not tracking my finger when I slide it across the screen anymore So much so that I m just using a stock standard keyboard to do my typing I get to upgrade in August but still I paid money for this thing and it s not working as advertised Tried updating it but that didn t help much either         Not responsive when sliding Rudi van der Walt

Open your flipping settings for christ sake the recent updates have provided us with a lot of advanced features that come with default settings You need to read the update logs and explore the new settings menus like a responsible app user Apps with the complexity and customization of SlideIt will not work the way you expect them to if you do not take a look at the settings and choose what does and doesn t work for you This app I promise will do what you want if you mold it correctly It probably took                     For all of you that complained and gave one star Nicholas Atamaniuk

I have used slideIT for years and have always loved it I switched a lot between languages and it was so easy But now it doesn t show alternative words properly so I m going to try my luck with the google equivalent Let me know when it s fixed I m sad I can t use it any more     Great Nicola Peevor
